IF YOU HAVE QUALITY PRODUCE, FLOWERS,
OR TREES YOU CAN SELL AT BVPA……..
Nearly all of our produce comes directly from the farmer and is delivered to the auction within 24 hours of being harvested. Most of our sellers are within 150 miles of the auction, but unlike some produce auctions we do accept fresh, quality produce from all over the eastern US, before & after our local varities are in season.

HOW TO SELL
Simply bring your quality product to the auction. Product is typically accepted on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00am to 9:00am, & Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Established accounts can deliver virtually anytime.
You will need to register for a consignor’s account. You can do so at the office when you arrive or apply here and we will email your consignor number to you. We will help you unload and show you where & how to display & mark your produce.
Our drive-thru is open from July to November. This option works well for local famers who have a few hours to spend at the auction. In the drive-thru your produce should be displayed on an open trailer and you should always be available to show it to potential buyers.
There is a 10% commission charged to the grower by BVPA. All sellers pay the same rate.
We pride ourselves on paying quickly and have not been late in 20+ years. Checks are available for pickup the Tuesday morning the week after your product was sold (except the last week of the year). If it is not picked up that week, it will be mailed the next week.
Trucking is also available to pick up your produce, charges apply.
